Dr Kelvin Mbugua Kinuthia is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council as a specialist. He is a Clinical Fellow of the Joanna Briggs Institute, in Australia. He has been a consultant Obstetrician and gynaecologist in private practice in Nairobi since 2018 and is based at Grace Memorial Hospital.

He completed his MBChB in 2005 and his Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2013 at the University of Nairobi.

Dr Kinuthia has an interest in family planning, urogynaecology and minimal invasive surgery (laparoscopy). As a gynaecologist, he practices best clinical practices modelled on the Joanna Briggs implementation studies. He has published in both local and international peer-reviewed journals.
